Use this template to run a simple approval process for new blog content using Airtable + AhoyTeam. Trigger a workflow when a new article-draft is added to Airtable workspace and assign reviews to teammates through Slack, get approvals, and prompt a relevant stakeholder to publish the final article.

Template Structure

  1. Change in Airtable
    Set up an AhoyTeam Trigger for a specific change in Airtable.



  1. The task to review article
    Notify a relevant teammate/manager to review the new article from Airtable. This includes a link to the article right there in Slack.
  2. Notification if article is not approved
    If there are changes needed, managers can simply send the article back with one single Slack button so that the additional modifications can be made.
  3. Notification if the article was approved
    Notify your team that the article was approved and is ready to be scheduled. This can be a notification to a specific #channel or a dedicated stakeholder assigned to schedule publishing.
  4. Additional message once published
    If the task from above was finished you can set up one last notification to a team channel so that everyone can view and share the new article.
